One thing spammers need is a constant accumulation of legitimate email accounts to use and abuse. Toward that effort, we’re seeing yet another variation in the Phishing campaigns that attempt identity theft of user’s email accounts.

Dear User,
We have upgraded our server to serve you more better and consistently,Please click the link below to upgrade your mailbox to the new server.
http://carolinapoodlerescue.org/phpformgenerator/use/verification/form1.html
If you cannot click the link above copy and paste the link unto your browser window.
Failure to upgrade may lead to a reset of your mailbox.

Of course, the emails do not come from any legitimate Webmaster, but are instead simply spoofed and sent from already hijacked mail accounts at loosely run services such as “Everyone.net”

The “verification forms” presented in these emails lead to simple forms designed to trick users into providing their actual email login and password.
If the recipient provides this, then their account will be taken by the spammer, and used to send more spam.
If the account is a webmail system and contains an address book then the first thing the spammer will do is to send junk email to the contacts saved in the hijacked webmail account.
