Phishing Flow Chart

Phishing is a type of email attack where the sender pretends to be a bank or some other institution in order to trick you into providing sensitive data such as your username and password. Usually phishing attacks link to a page which looks exactly like the target institution’s login page. The login form may also be included directly in the message.

You can use this phishing flow chart (originally posted by Login Helper) to help identify and avoid falling for phishing emails.
