Another online email marketing tool is now hosting images for email spammers. The current campaign being another stock fraud “pump and dump” for Bio-Solutions Corp. (BISU.OB).
Most all of the headers we’ve reviewed from this campaign so far come from hacked Hotmail accounts (Microsoft’s support and tolerance of spammers is simply endless), for example:

But, while the zombified Hotmail accounts sent the solicitation, the actual image displayed is hosted by online services such as iConnect which claims on its site:
iContact “Email Marketing Simplified”
“Easily Create, Send, and Track Your Email Messages with iContact!”
Based on the number of these stock fraud emails we’re seeing, iContact apparently does not have much in the way of spam compliance or enforcement, so maybe “Spam Email Simplified” would be a better catch-phrase?

The spam/fraud message itself is pushing a thinly traded over the counter pink-sheet stock, with volume typically under 10,000 shares and often with fewer than 1,000 shares trading hands on any given day.
Recent spikes in volume have pushed to as high as 268,200 shares, so clearly the pump and dump is under way.
As can be expected, this stock fraud will no-doubt snare a few victims. While the “MarketClout” spam emails claim this is a Strong Buy, a quick perusal of the company’s SEC Filings as of 9-30-09 discloses the company has:
- Revenues of $7,654 for the prior three months
- No cash on hand
- Accounts receivable of $1,887 and inventory of $82,007
- Current liabilities of $348,891″
In addition, their auditors have “questioned our ability to continue operations as a going concern.”
The rest of the disclosure is equally comical for a “strong buy” and a definite read if you’re still tempted to throw away your money on this stock:
